Product description:

This gear is only needed if you are refilling STARTER* cartridges for the Brother TN210, since the starter cartridges don't always have this reset gear installed. The printer displays a "toner life end" message if no reset gear is detected. A reset gear must be installed on any used TN210 starter cartridge (any color) in order for the printer to function properly once the cartridge has been refilled and re-installed in the printer.

* A starter cartridge is the cartridge that ships free with your printer. If you purchase the cartridge separatley, you will not require this gear.

Each kit contains: 1 reset gear + instructions for assembly (easy to do!)

Money saving tips and information:

As printers become increasingly sophisticated, many currently employ toner chips to monitor toner levels in cartridges. They issue warning signals when toner levels run low and when cartridges are empty.

Why do toner chips need replacing?

Many modern printer toner chips contain smart chips. The toner levels of the original cartridges are permanently stored in their memories and can't be reset. When a cartridge is refilled, the smart chip needs to be replaced to reflect the differences in toner levels in the refilled cartridge.

How Do Smart Chips Work?

Toner chips essentially monitor droplet count data to estimate toner usage and page counts. They are programmed to estimate the printing capacity of a single cartridge.

At Lazybuyer.com, we carry for these toner printers:
Brother, Canon, Dell, Epson, HP, Konica Minolta, Kyocera Mita, Okidata, Ricoh, samsung, Sharp and Xerox

Testimonials...

I have been using your toner kits for about 8 months. They have been working just fine. We can save 40 to 80 dollars per cartridge that I refill, depending on make and model of printer. I also have tried putting your toner into cartridges that are not listed on your compatibility chart with good success. Thanks for the great service.
Steve Michel
